More Than a Gut Feeling III

If you're in the market for a training video on the topic of interviewing and hiring skills from the perspective of the interviewer (as opposed to the interviewee), by far, the best selling video out there on the topic is More Than a Gut Feeling III. It outlines the techniques needed to conduct behavioral interviews and is straight forward and practical in its approach. To find out more, click here.

Another video recently released on this topic is Behavioral Interviewing: Taking the Guesswork out of Recruiting. - This video makes many of the same points as More Than a Gut Feeling, however, has a much more humorous tone. To find out more, click here.

Ethics for Everyone

There aren't all that many training videos on the market on the topic of ethics. (If you're looking for one, a recent release that you might like to check out is Moment of Truth.) But one that has been around for awhile and continues to sell very well is Ethics for Everyone. It is a solid, straight-forward ethics training video that covers issues ranging from insider trading to stealing office supplies...from making personal long distance calls on your work phone to keeping your promises.

This video provides training points to help employees make certain that their behavior is consistent with their values.

Everyday Creativity...by Dewitt Jones

As part of my work, I watch a lot of training videos. - In my opinion, some of the most thought-provoking and motivational are Dewitt Jones's videos: Celebrate What's Right with the World, Focus Your Vision, For the Love of It, and the one I'm discussing today, Everyday Creativity.

Everyday Creativity is not your typical training video with Points A, B, and C to memorize. (This I find refreshing!) In this video, Mr. Jones takes a more philosophical approach to the corporate buzz phrase: thinking outside the box.

How do you look at things? - Are they ordinary or are they extraordinary?

Do you see a couple of options or do you see thousands of possibilities?
